Jenna was born and raised in eastern North Carolina and has lived in Raleigh since 2015 with her husband and 3 daughters.  Jenna balances being a full-time mom, along with running her business and being an entrepreneur in the healing and wellness industry. Jenna completed her Master of Arts in Counseling from Concordia University Irvine from the Townsend Institute specializing in learning the Townsend Character Model created by John Townsend. She is a LCMHC in North Carolina.

Jenna has been drawn to the healing community since college and found her heart drawn to the power of story and wellness.  This led to her getting a BA in Communications and BS in Nutrition Science from East Carolina University. She went on to become a Registered Dietitian and obtained her MS in Nutrition Science in 2013.  Through Jenna’s personal journey of growth and healing she found yoga and became a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2016.

Jenna is passionate about meeting others where they are which has led to a heart for trauma informed yoga and somatic therapeutic practices. In 2017, Jenna began seeking out trainings in the field of trauma sensitive/informed yoga with Hala Khouri and in 2018 completed a "Yoga for Trauma" in person training with David Emerson learning Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY).  In 2022, Jenna completed Embodied Recovery Training level I & II. Mission + Vision

Her mission has been to create a therapeutic environment that focuses on grieving and healing through embodiment practices that integrate the body, soul, spirit and story. Through this healing process, people awaken to life abundantly and begin to stand inside their bodies, rest in their wholeness, step into their creativity and live freely despite trials and hardships.  Jenna has found herself on the journey as both a student and a teacher and believes the best teachers are always healing and embodying the hard work of restoration as they guide others forward.
