About the Event
Grief is the form love takes when someone or something we love dies or changes. And yet, while all of us will experience grief and loss, there are not many resources to support us in grieving well.
Grief is a normal, natural, complex experience to loss of any kind. Together, we will explore our relationship to grief as we work with the wisdom of the horses, the wisdom of nature, and the wisdom of the body.
Join us for a 2.5 hour embodied experience with nature and horses at the beautiful Unbridled Way Farm, in northern Durham County. Come experience ways of working with, holding, honoring and exploring grief in nature and the company of horses.
Horses bring us out of our heads and into our bodies, where our true wisdom lies – inviting us to quiet the mental chatter, to connect into what is True. Nature reminds us of the natural ebb and flow of the seasons - of beginnings and endings
Together we will:
Share memories and stories about our losses.
Learn about the grief process.
Integrate missing pieces through facilitated experiences with horses.
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, Amanda Graham and Jenna Little are both passionate about creating integrative healing experiences that transform our confusion and pain to bring more clarity and wholeness to one’s life.
